It is always a treat when we have snow in the deep south. Others may beg to differ. As I sit in the weather center the phone has not stopped ringing. People are scared! They think the Apocalypse is coming because it was 72 degrees yesterday with tornadoes and snowing today. I do not believe this is unusual. There are really only two seasons: Winter and Summer. Fall and Spring are transitional seasons. When you replace a cold air mass with a warmer air mass, there will be some friction.
